Our Story

Welcome to Barlow Roots Farm

In 2019 we planted our first crops using organic fertilizers and bedding from Kootenay Meadows and other reputable farms. We introduced chickens, pigs, vegetable gardens, garlic and herbs. The roots of our farm run deep as the property was owned by extended family who built the farmhouse in 1996. We are first-generation farmers though both of our grandparents had farms and orchards in the Kootenays. We feel inspired by Creston’s farming community and share a deep passion for growing quality food.
